Born December 19, 1933, in Hamlin, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Samuels) Roy. A resident of Industry and Midland all her life, Betty will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Coraopolis. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, William "Bill" Gailey, in 2013; three brothers and one sister. She will be greatly missed by her son, Martin (Amy) Gailey, Jackson, Tenn.; daughter, Judith (Charles W.) Stewart, with whom she resided the past five years; one sister, Patricia (Joseph) Bassar, Midland; grandchildren, Allison (Austin) Lewis, Sarah (Christopher) Benson, Jared and Benjamin Gailey, and Darla Stewart; along with great-grandchildren, Elijah, Samiah, and Eliana Benson, and Rilee Boring. Friends will be received Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted by her Evangelist, David Brewer, on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry. Born in Natrona Heights on November 11, 1943, she was one of two daughters to the late Richard and Elva (Hepler) Humphreys. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Humphreys and sister, Joyce Adamski. Beloved mother of Yvonne Kosarek (Al), Brenda Jones (Patrick), Miriam Hunt, and Tracy Ebert (Bill); granddaughter, caregiver and best friend of Kaitlyn Kosarek (fiancé Paul) along with three other granddaughters. She had worked in material managements for Divine Providence and Roy's Auto Parts.
